Given the need to define the rules and procedures that Banking Financial Institutions must observe for the reporting of information for the purpose of preparing resolution plans;
Under the combined provisions of Article 259 of Law No. 14/21, of May 19, the General Regime of Financial Institutions Law, with Article 32(1) and Article 98(2), both of Law No. 24/21, of October 18, the Bank of Angola Law.
This Directive serves to establish the following:
This Directive applies to Banking Financial Institutions under the supervision of the Bank of Angola, provided for in letters a), b), and d) of paragraph 2 of Article 7 of Law No. 14/21, of May 19, the General Regime of Financial Institutions Law, hereinafter designated as Institutions.
Institutions must report annually to the Bank of Angola the information provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 259 of Law No. 14/21, of May 19, the General Regime of Financial Institutions Law, by June 30, with reference to December 31 of the previous year.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, Institutions must also submit, by June 30 of each year, the complementary information provided for in the annexes of this Directive.
The information referred to in the preceding paragraphs must be submitted to the Bank of Angola, according to the annexes of this Directive, namely:

For the purposes of the preceding paragraph, Institutions must follow the Filling Auxiliary Notes, contained in Annex V of this Directive.
For the reporting of information required under this Directive, Institutions must do so in Excel format, via the email address DRE@bna.ao.
Doubts and omissions resulting from the interpretation and application of this Directive are clarified by the Bank of Angola.
This Directive enters into force the day following its publication.
