Palestine Monetary Authority Circular No. 2025/89: Freezing Bank Accounts of the Palestinian Educational Environmental Charity Association
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 2025/89 on August 10, 2025, instructing all banks operating in Palestine to freeze the bank accounts of the Palestinian Educational Environmental Charity Association. This directive is based on a request from the Ministry of Interior to suspend operations until the association rectifies its status and obtains new authorization for its signatories. Attached is a copy of the letter from the Director General of the General Administration of Non-Governmental Organizations and Public Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, No. (8106), regarding the request to freeze all bank accounts belonging to the Palestinian Educational Environmental Charity Association, registered with the Ministry under Number (7191); this is pending the Association's rectification of its status with the Ministry in accordance with regulations, and obtaining a new letter approving its authorized signatories.
Accordingly, necessary measures are requested to be taken for implementation.
