DFSA Notice of Consultation Paper Release on Proposed Markets Law Changes for Official Securities Listing
The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has released Consultation Paper 62 to propose amendments to the Markets Law that clarify and expand its powers regarding the maintenance of an official securities list. Market participants are invited to review the proposed legislative adjustments and submit written feedback directly to the regulator. The DFSA will accept all public comments until 2 September 2009 before finalizing the updated listing framework.

• Consultation Paper 62 - Proposed Changes to the Markets Law in Relation to Powers of the DFSA to Maintain an Official List of Securities
The Consultation Paper can be viewed on the DFSA website or by clicking on the above link. The deadline for providing comments on this proposal is 2 September 2009.
