Central Bank of Tunisia Circular No. 2017-07 to Banks - Updating the List of Clearing-Participating Banks
The Central Bank of Tunisia issued Circular No. 2017-07 to formally update the official list of banks participating in the national clearing system. The circular adds Al Wafa International Bank (Code 77) to the roster of institutions operating under or managed by the Common Clearing Bank. This administrative update takes effect as of May 15, 2012, following the bank's December 2013 request for system integration.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Having examined Law No. 53 of 2012 dated April 6, 2012, concerning the establishment of the Statutes of the Central Bank of Tunisia; Having examined Circular No. 60 of 1993 dated May 3, 1993, concerning the clearing house system as supplemented by subsequent provisions; Having examined the request of Al Wafa International Bank dated December 1, 2013, for participation in the clearing system; Has decided as follows:
Article 1: The list of banks participating in clearing operations under the Central Bank of Tunisia Headquarters or managed by the "Common Clearing Bank" is updated as follows:
