Round-Table Discussion on Foreign Exchange Managment Issues

The Central Bank of Nigeria is hosting a Round-Table Discussion on Foreign Exchange Management Issues on February 8, 2008 at Protea Hotel, Lekki, Lagos. Authorized Dealers and Service Providers are invited to send two representatives (Treasurers and Heads, Trade Finance or International Operations for Dealers; Operations Manager for Service Providers) to discuss emerging issues in the Foreign Exchange Market and propose effective policy inputs for its improvement.

ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION ON FOREIGN EXCHANGE MANAGEMENT ISSUES As part of effort towards addressing issues arising from the ongoing liberalisation of the Foreign Exchange Market, a Round-Table Discussion Forum has been scheduled to hold at 9.00 am on Friday February 8, 2008 at the Protea Hotel, Lekki, Lagos. The forum is intended to afford participants the opportunity to discuss the emerging issues and proffer appropriate policy inputs with a view to enhancing the efficiency of the Foreign Exchange Market. In order to engender effective contributions during discussions at the Forum, Authorised Dealers are hereby requested to nominate two representatives who should be Treasurers and Heads, Trade Finance and or International Operations. Service Providers are to be represented by their Operations Manager.
