Prime Minister's Decision No. 10 of 2026 Amending Certain Provisions of Decision No. 29 of 2025 on the Appointment of the President, Vice President and Members of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism

The Prime Minister of Qatar issued Decision No. 10 of 2026 to amend Decision No. 29 of 2025 by appointing Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Qa'id, Director General of the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Affairs, as a member of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism in place of Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Dhaimi. The decision repeals all conflicting provisions, mandates implementation by all competent authorities within their respective jurisdictions, and takes effect immediately upon issuance following its publication in the Official Gazette. It formally updates the committee's composition under the existing Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Law framework to ensure continued regulatory oversight.

The Prime Minister, Having reviewed the Constitution, And Law No. 20 of 2019 on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, including its amendments, And Prime Minister's Decision No. 29 of 2025 on the Appointment of the President, Vice President and Members of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, as amended by Decision No. 2 of 2026,

Has decided the following:

Article (1) Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Qa'id, Director General of the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Affairs, shall replace Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Dhaimi as a member of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism.

Article (2) Any provision contrary to the provisions of this Decision is hereby repealed.

Article (3) All competent authorities shall each implement this Decision according to their respective jurisdictions. It shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
