Subject: Issuance of the New US Federal Reserve $100 Bill
In light of numerous inquiries from citizens regarding the issuance of the new $100 bill by the US Treasury, and in reference to the press release issued by the US Federal Reserve on 08/10/2013, please be advised that the new denomination was released for circulation in markets on the date of the press release. Two advanced security features have been added: a 3D security ribbon and a bell in the inkwell, in addition to security features used in other denominations such as the portrait watermark and security thread.
