Circular No. 14/2025: Branch Opening in Al-Yamoun Town, Jenin Governorate
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 14/2025 to all banks operating in Palestine, responding to a request from the Al-Yamoun Municipality to establish a banking branch in the town. The Authority instructs banks to utilize the existing municipal headquarters to apply for a branch license or provide banking services through ATMs in compliance with applicable laws. Subject: Branch in Al-Yamoun Town / Jenin Governorate
In response to the request from the Head of the Al-Yamoun Municipality / Jenin to open a branch for one of the banks to serve the town and the western region of Jenin Governorate, the Palestine Monetary Authority urges you, within the framework of enhancing financial inclusion and facilitating citizens' access to financial and banking services, to take advantage of the presence of a municipal-affiliated headquarters and submit a license application to open a branch in the town, or to work on providing banking services to the town and surrounding areas through ATMs in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and instructions in force.
