Decision on Amendments and Supplements to the Decision on the Unified Register of Business Accounts in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Based on Article 2, paragraph (3), item c), Article 7, paragraph (1), item b), and Articles 59 and 70 of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", nos. 01/97, 29/02, 8/03, 13/03, 14/03, 9/05, 76/06, and 32/07), the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 8th session held on May 22, 2024, adopts

DECISION on amendments and supplements to the Decision on the Unified Register of Business Accounts in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Article 1. In the Decision on the Unified Register of Business Accounts in Bosnia and Herzegovina – revised text ("Official Gazette of BiH", no. 26/23), in Article 11, item b), the words "and types of accounts" are deleted.

Article 2. (1) In Article 13, after paragraph (3), a new paragraph (4) is added, which reads: "(4) All other acts related to the distribution of data from the URBA are signed by the Vice Governor of the Central Bank responsible for the Sector for Statistics, External Debt Servicing, European Integration, and Payment Systems." (2) The current paragraph (4) becomes paragraph (5).

Article 3. In Article 14, in paragraphs (3) and (4), the words "the Governor of the Central Bank may by a special act" are replaced with the words "the Vice Governor of the Central Bank responsible for the Sector for Statistics, External Debt Servicing, European Integration, and Payment Systems may".

Article 4. (1) In Article 16, after paragraph (1), a new paragraph (2) is added, which reads: "If the Central Bank issues an outgoing invoice for the services referred to in paragraph (1) of this Article, it is signed by the Vice Governor of the Central Bank responsible for the Sector for Statistics, External Debt Servicing, European Integration, and Payment Systems." (2) The current paragraphs (2) and (3) become paragraphs (3) and (4).

Article 5. In Article 17, in paragraph (4), the words "the Governor of the Central Bank" are replaced with the words "the Vice Governor of the Central Bank responsible for the Sector for Statistics, External Debt Servicing, European Integration, and Payment Systems".

Article 6. (1) This Decision enters into force on the eighth day from the date of its publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", and shall be applied from July 1, 2024. (2) This Decision shall also be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", the "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", and the "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
