Summary of Amendments to the Guidelines on Issuance of Corporate Bonds and Sukuk to Retail Investors
The Securities Commission issued amendments to the Guidelines on Issuance of Corporate Bonds and Sukuk to Retail Investors on 11 October 2018. The revision inserted a definition for ACMF and expanded Chapter 21 to include requirements for ASEAN Social and Sustainability Bonds alongside existing Green Bond provisions. Additionally, new paragraphs were added to Appendix 1 mandating the submission of compliance checklists for the ASEAN Social and Sustainability Bond Standards.
