Board of Directors Decision No. (160) of 2020 Amending Decision No. (11) of 2014 on the Rules for Listing and Delisting Securities on the Egyptian Exchange
The General Authority for Financial Regulation issued Decision No. 160 of 2020 to amend Article 41 of the Rules for Listing and Delisting Securities on the Egyptian Exchange. The amendment requires listed companies to request a shareholder registry update from the Central Depository, Clearing and Registration Company for Securities and deliver it to their external auditor for verification against freeze lists submitted by shareholders attending the General Assembly. Furthermore, the Central Depository must immediately forward a copy of this statement to both the Authority and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones upon delivery to the company.
