Electronic Transactions (Amendment) Act No. 10 of 2017

The Government of Belize enacted the Electronic Transactions (Amendment) Act No. 10 of 2017 to amend the principal Electronic Transactions Act. The legislation modifies section 15 to extend the Act's application to negotiable instruments, specifically excluding payment instruments as defined in the National Payment System Act, 2016. This change ensures that the regulatory framework covers specific financial instruments previously excluded from its scope.
