FSCA Communication 11 of 2024 (RF): Extension of Trustee Training Toolkit Deadlines and Phase Two Launch
The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) has extended the deadline for pension fund board members to complete the first 11 modules of the Trustee Training Toolkit until 30 September 2024 and launched the second phase covering modules 12 to 22. Board members appointed on or before 28 March 2024 must finish modules 1 to 11 by the new deadline and complete modules 12 to 22 within six months of FSCA RF Notice 6 publication, while newly appointed members have a six-month window from their appointment date for both phases. This adjustment addresses technical access issues with the eLearning portal and establishes clear compliance timelines under Conduct Standard 4 of 2020.
