Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Banks
Issued by the Republic of Azerbaijan, this Law regulates banking organizations, internal management, and liquidation procedures. It mandates the Central Bank to exercise exclusive licensing and supervisory authority over domestic and foreign credit institutions, while setting capital requirements, fit-and-proper standards for officers, and limits on foreign capital participation.
