Instruction No. 02/2025 of August 13 – Payment System: Value Limits on Operations in Payment Systems
The Bank of Angola issued Instruction No. 02/2025 to update and standardize value limits across Angola's payment instruments and systems, including standardized cheques, the Multicaixa network, credit transfers, direct debits, and instant transfers. The directive establishes specific maximum transaction and daily caps for payments, withdrawals, card purchases, and service commissions while granting exemptions for government ministries, social security operations, and the central bank itself.
