Circular No. 292 of 20 December 2016 - Statistical Reporting by Microcredit Operators

The Bank of Italy issued Circular No. 292 on 20 December 2016 to establish the rules for statistical supervisory reporting by microcredit operators. Statistical Reporting by Microcredit Operators

The Circular contains the rules for compiling the supervisory statistical reports that microcredit operators transmit to the Bank of Italy regarding their asset, economic, and financial situation and on the financing disbursed. The Circular is divided into four sections: the first three contain, respectively, balance sheet data, data on commitments, and income statement data; the fourth section includes information on the territorial and economic sector distribution of funded clients as well as other details on microcredit operations (for example: guarantees received, average duration, and average contractual interest rate of operations).
