The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 222/2022 to mandate immediate compliance with United Nations Security Council sanctions and freezing lists. Payment service companies operating in Palestine are required to register on the Committee's official website, instantly implement relevant resolutions regarding North Korea and Iran, and electronically update their internal sanctions lists without delay. The Authority explicitly warns that strict penalties will be enforced against any non-compliant entities.

Based on the provisions of Presidential Decree No. (14) of 2022 regarding the implementation of Security Council resolutions, and in reference to Circular No. (2022/173) concerning Instructions No. (1) of 2022 issued by the Security Council Resolutions Implementation Committee, and registration and subscription to the Committee's website, the Palestine Monetary Authority reiterates the necessity to comply and adhere to the following:
Please be informed that the Palestine Monetary Authority will not tolerate and will impose the strictest penalties on violators.
