Summary
These regulations apply to payment institutions, institutions for electronic money, mortgage institutions and consumer credit institutions. They regulate the information that undertakings must submit to Finansinspektionen in conjunction with ownership, ownership management and management assessments. These regulations apply both at the time of authorisation, that is, at the time an undertaking applies for authorisation, and for ongoing ownership, ownership management and management assessments.
Amendments
The amendments entail that all references to the Certain Consumer Credit-related Operations Act (2014:275) have been removed since this act has been repealed. The older wording of the regulation will still be applied by undertakings that prior to entry into force had authorisation pursuant to this act and that during a transition period will continue to conduct business in accordance with this act.
The amendments enter into force as of 1 July 2025. Amendment FFFS 2025:9
The amendments entail that Swedish clearing companies, branches of foreign clearing companies and their owners are included in the scope of the regaultions. In addition, som language-related and editorial amendments were made fix incorrect references in section 6 and Appendix 1b.
