Electronic Message Formats in the Gross Real-Time Settlement System (GRSS) and Their Filling Rules

The National Bank of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan (NBRK) issued this regulatory document to standardize electronic message formats and filling rules within the Gross Real-Time Settlement System (GRSS). It mandates SWIFT-compliant block structures, defines mandatory and optional fields across financial and GPA message types, and establishes precise validation rules for transaction sequencing, currency codes, and priority handling. The framework ensures interoperability between participant banks, clearing houses, and the NBRK by specifying exact message flows, session identifiers, and error-handling protocols for real-time gross settlements.
