FSCA Communication 2 of 2020 (BANKS) Submission to Parliament of Draft Conduct Standard for Banks

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority submitted its draft Conduct Standard for Banks, accompanied by a supporting statement and consultation report, to Parliament on 18 February 2020 pursuant to section 103(1) of the Financial Sector Regulation Act. This submission formalizes updated conduct requirements for banking entities and makes the complete regulatory instruments publicly available on the Authority’s website. 1 FSCA Communication 2 of 2020 (BANKS) Submission to Parliament of draft Conduct Standard for Banks

  1. The purpose of this Communication is to inform stakeholders that on 18 February 2020 the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) submitted the following draft Conduct Standard and supporting documents to Parliament in terms of section 103(1) of the Financial Sector Regulation Act, 2017 (Act No. 9 of 2017) (FSR Act): • draft Conduct Standard for Banks; • Statement supporting the Conduct Standard; and • Consultation report on the Conduct Standard.
