Palestine Monetary Authority Circular No. 12 of 2025: Eid al-Adha Holiday
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 12 of 2025 to mandate a holiday for all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine. The holiday period is scheduled from the morning of Thursday, June 5, 2025, through the evening of Monday, June 9, 2025. Normal official operations for these institutions are set to resume on the morning of Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Subject: Eid al-Adha Holiday
Based on the provisions of Article No. (22) of Decision No. (132) of 2011 concerning the licensing and supervision system for specialized lending institutions and its amendments, and based on the approved decision of the Council of Ministers, the Eid al-Adha holiday for lending institutions operating in Palestine shall begin from the morning of Thursday, June 05, 2025, and continue until the evening of Monday, June 09, 2025. Lending institutions shall return to their official normal working hours starting from the morning of Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
On this blessed occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to all employees in lending institutions, and we ask God to return it to our Palestinian people with their aspirations fulfilled for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its holy capital.
