Finansinspektionen mandates that specific securities companies and foreign branches report quarterly data to Statistics Sweden to support official financial market statistics. These reporting obligations were updated to align with new European Union statistical requirements and the European System of Accounts 2010, which introduced new sector divisions. Additionally, mutual benefit societies were removed from the scope of Appendix 2, with amendments effective from March 2015 and November 2020.
