President of Azerbaijan enacted this law to mandate state compulsory personal insurance for judicial and law enforcement personnel, covering life and health risks with benefits equal to five years of salary. A designated state insurance agency administers the program, collecting quarterly premiums from budget-funded policyholders and disbursing tax-free indemnities within seven days of verified claims. Coverage amounts scale from 10 to 100 percent based on injury severity or death, with payouts denied only if the incident occurs outside official duties or under severe intoxication.
