Decision on the Unique Structure of Current Accounts
The Governor of the National Bank of Serbia issued this Decision to establish a unique structure for current accounts used in dinar payment transactions. It mandates an eighteen-digit numerical designation composed of a three-digit provider code, a thirteen-digit account number, and a two-digit ISO 7064 control number. This regulation repeals the 2004 decision on account identification and entered into force on 1 October 2015.
