Industry Standards on Reporting of BRSR Core
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a circular mandating listed entities to adhere to industry standards for disclosing Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) Core data. These standards were formulated by the Industry Standards Forum, comprising ASSOCHAM, CII, and FICCI, in consultation with SEBI to standardize implementation under the LODR Regulations. The requirements become applicable for the financial year 2024-25 and onwards, with stock exchanges tasked to ensure compliance among their listed entities.
