Circular Letter No. 4067 — Amends Circular Letter No. 4,060 of June 23, 2020

The Head of the Department of Banking Operations and Payment Systems (Deban), using the authority granted by Article 23, item I, subsection 'a', of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287 of February 27, 2015, and in view of the provisions of Circular No. 3,975 of January 8, 2020,

R E S O L V E:

Art. 1º Circular Letter No. 4,060 of June 23, 2020, shall be amended as follows:

“Art. 2º For the provision of information, the following codes from the Domain Dictionary associated with the Service Catalog of the National Financial System must be used:

I - .....................................................................

o) CodItem “7020 - Balance of transfers made by cooperative banks to cooperatives within the same system for working capital (item III, art. 5-A, of Circular 3,975)”, carried out from June 22, 2020, reported starting from the calculation period beginning on July 6, 2020, and ending on July 10, 2020;

II - ....................................................................

§ 1º CodItems 7016, 7017, 7018, 7019, and 7020 may only be reported regarding the last business day of the calculation period for the purpose of calculating the deduction of exigibility in the corresponding movement period.

§ 2º CodItems 7016, 7017, 7018, 7019, and 7020 must not be reported by Savings and Loan Associations, Real Estate Credit Societies, and/or Credit Cooperatives.

§ 3º CodItems 7016, 7017, 7018, 7019, and 7020 must consider only the operations contracted and investments made between June 22, 2020, and December 31, 2020, ceasing to be reported from the calculation period beginning on June 12, 2023.”

Art. 2º The following provisions of Circular Letter No. 4,060 of June 23, 2020, are hereby revoked:

I - the sole paragraph of Art. 2º; and

II - Art. 4º.

Art. 3º This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
