Ref.: Circular LISOL 1-1139 OPRAC 1-1308 Financing of the Non-Financial Public Sector. 2026 Letter Issuance Program of the Municipality of Córdoba –Province of Córdoba

The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issues Communication “A” 8422 to authorize financial entities to acquire up to $50,000,000,000 pesos in Treasury Letters issued by the Municipality of Córdoba under its 2026 Issuance Program. This authorization operates within the existing restriction of point 2.1 of the consolidated text on Non-Financial Public Sector Financing and remains subject to applicable credit risk fractioning provisions. The measure applies in accordance with Municipal Ordinance 13,622 and the specific conditions established by the Treasury Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy.

We address you to inform you that this Institution has adopted the resolution which, in its relevant part, provides: “- No observations shall be made, within the framework of the restriction contained in point 2.1 of the consolidated text on Financing of the Non-Financial Public Sector, regarding financial entities' ability to acquire Treasury Letters to be issued by the Municipality of Córdoba –Province of Córdoba– up to a total amount of $50,000,000,000 (fifty billion pesos), within the framework of the 2026 Letter Issuance Program –as provided for in Municipal Ordinance No. 13,622– and in accordance with the conditions established in note NO-2026-35282909-APN-SH#MEC of the Treasury Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation, without prejudice to compliance by the participating financial entities with the provisions on credit risk fractioning set forth in that regulation.” We salute you attentively.
