Guidelines on the Registration, Replacement, and Use of E-mail Accounts for Official Communications with the Consumer Account Protection Office
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued Memorandum No. M-2025-020 to mandate that all supervised institutions register official e-mail accounts for communications with the Consumer Account Protection Office by 25 July 2025. The guidelines specify strict procedures for registering up to three accounts, replacing them within 24 hours or three days upon specific triggers, and require that all submissions be sent exclusively from these registered addresses to be accepted. Additionally, the memorandum clarifies that reports on temporarily held disputed funds must be submitted using existing e-mail accounts registered with the Department of Supervisory Analytics.
