Circular No. 150 Prohibition of Dealing with Al-Ansari Exchange Company

The Palestine Monetary Authority mandates that all banks operating in Palestine immediately cease all incoming and outgoing financial transactions with Al-Ansari Exchange Company. This prohibition is implemented pursuant to Decision No. (2016/7) of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing to safeguard the integrity of the local financial sector and mitigate associated risks. The ban becomes fully effective on September 1, 2016.

Subject: Prohibition of Dealing with Al-Ansari Exchange Company

Based on Decision No. (2016/7) of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing dated 2016/08/23 regarding the prohibition of dealing, and to ensure the integrity of financial operations in Palestine and protect it from any risks, all banks operating in Palestine are prohibited from conducting any financial transactions incoming to or outgoing from Al-Ansari Exchange Company, effective as of 2016/09/01.
