CMA and USE Launch World Investor Week 2025: Empowering Ugandans to Move from Savings to Smart Investments
The Capital Markets Authority and the Uganda Securities Exchange have launched World Investor Week 2025 to promote investor education and encourage Ugandans to transition from traditional savings to technology-enabled capital market investments. The campaign, running from October 27 to 31, 2025, highlights digital platforms like the USE Easy Portal and fintech solutions that simplify access to trading and enhance financial inclusion. Organizers will host a series of educational activities, including investor outreach sessions, media campaigns, and roadshows, to deepen financial literacy and warn against fraudulent schemes.
