Banknotes with Governor Caleb Fundanga's Signature

The Bank of Zambia has issued a circular announcing the immediate circulation of banknotes bearing the signature of Governor Caleb Fundanga. The central bank confirms that all previously issued notes signed by former governors retain their status as legal tender without any changes to other note specifications. Recipients are provided with a K500 specimen note for safekeeping and are advised that the Bank reserves the right to recall these specimens at any time.

## BANKNOTES WITH GOVERNOR CALEB FUNDANGA'S SIGNATURE

In accordance with the general provisions of Part IV of the Bank of Zambia Act 1996, please be advised that the Bank of Zambia has, with immediate effect, put into circulation banknotes with the signature of Governor Fundanga. All other features and note specifications remain unchanged.

We further advise you that the current series of banknotes which were signed by previous Governors remain legal tender.

Meanwhile, we hereby enclose one specimen note for the K500 for your information and safekeeping. As usual, please note that the Bank of Zambia reserves the right to recall the specimen notes, therefore keep these in your safe custody for such eventuality.
