We address you to inform you that the Board of Directors of this Institution authorized the participation of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic in the International Program of Commemorative Coins for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The characteristics of the coins, minted by the Royal Mint of Spain - National Mint and Stamp Factory (FNMT), are as follows:

The reverse features, in the central field, a diagram of Argentina's spectacular 1986 goal play, considered by many specialists as the best in World Cup history. This sporting milestone is evoked to commemorate its fortieth anniversary. In the upper half of the central circle of the playing field appears the face value «$10». In the exergue, the year of minting «2025». The upper arc reads «BANCO CENTRAL DE LA REPUBLICA ARGENTINA» and the lower arc, «COPA MUNDIAL DE LA FIFA 2026TM».

The reverse features, in the central field, a synthesis of a ball with three stars, referring to the three cups won by the senior Argentine national team in World Cup history.
