Consolidates and updates the Bank of Portugal's expectations regarding the management of real estate assets acquired through loan repayments, with the aim of minimizing the time they are held on the balance sheet or ensuring a genuine reduction in prudential exposure to these assets.

Replaces Circular Letters No. 044/2009/DSB, dated May 19, and No. 1/2011/DSP, dated February 22.
