PSD-2 Circular Letter No. 02: BACH and RTGS Transaction Schedule for 18 and 19 March 2026 Preceding Eid-ul-Fitr
Bangladesh Bank's Payment Systems Department-2 issued Circular Letter No. 02 to specify the operating schedules for BACH and RTGS systems on the government holidays of 18 and 19 March 2026 preceding Eid-ul-Fitr. Under this directive, BACPS High Value Clearing will enforce an 11:30 AM presentment and 12:30 PM return cutoff, while Regular Value Clearing will close at 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM respectively, with BEFTN maintaining its standard three-session timetable. RTGS operations will be restricted to 10:00 AM–12:45 PM for all BDT and foreign currency transactions, and 10:00 AM–1:00 PM for interbank fund transfers and returns.
