Decision No. 001/2018-DDI Approving CRIF Madagascar as a Credit Information Bureau

CENTRAL BANK OF MADAGASCAR DECISION No. 001/2018-DDI APPROVING THE COMPANY CRIF MADAGASCAR AS A CREDIT INFORMATION BUREAU

The Governor of the Central Bank of Madagascar, Having regard to Law No. 2016-004 of July 29, 2016, supplemented by Law No. 2016-057 of February 2, 2017, establishing the statutes of the Central Bank of Madagascar; Having regard to Law No. 2017-045 of February 15, 2018, governing the activity and supervision of Credit Information Bureaus; Having regard to Instruction No. 001-DDI/2018 of July 27, 2018, governing the procedures for granting approval as a Credit Information Bureau (CIB); Having regard to Service Note No. 56/18-DDI/TCI/N of July 31, 2018, establishing an Approval Committee within the BFM; Having regard to the approval application as a Credit Information Bureau submitted by CRIF Madagascar on October 12, 2018; Having regard to the report prepared by said Approval Committee; Considering that the Company meets the legal and regulatory requirements and possesses all required financial and technical capabilities;

HAS DECIDED:

ARTICLE 1 The Company CRIF Madagascar, a Public Limited Company with a General Manager, having its registered office at Escalier C, Zone Tana Watet Front Ambodivona 101, Antananarivo, is hereby approved as a Credit Information Bureau (CIB).

ARTICLE 2 This decision shall take effect from the date of its notification to CRIF Madagascar.

ARTICLE 3 This decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Madagascar and on the BFM website.
