| 27101The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and its National Bank have issued a binding procedure mandating standardized rounding rules for tyn remainder amounts in cash transactions across all business entities and budgetary institutions. The regulation requires that remainders of 1 to 24 tyn be rounded down to zero, 25 to 49 tyn be rounded up to 50 tyn, 50 to 74 tyn be rounded down to 50 tyn, and 75 to 99 tyn be rounded up to one som. Non-cash transactions continue to process exact amounts without any rounding adjustments.

Procedure for Rounding Tyn Remainder Amounts to 50 Tyn in Cash Transactions in the Kyrgyz Republic.
This Procedure for Rounding Amounts applies to all business entities and budgetary institutions.
Cash transactions shall be carried out with amount rounding as follows:
