Authorised Collective Investment Schemes (Class B) (Amendment) Rules, 2024
The Guernsey Financial Services Commission issued these rules to amend the Authorised Collective Investment (Class B) Rules and Guidance, 2021. The amendments involve deleting the words "Unclaimed and" from the title of Rule 5.2, removing Rule 5.2(2) entirely, and deleting Rule 8.3(3) in its entirety. These changes apply only to schemes authorised on or after 20 December 2024, excluding those authorised prior to that date.
GUERNSEY STATUTORY INSTRUMENT NO THE AUTHORISED COLLECTIVE INVESTMENT SCHEMES (CLASS B) (AMENDMENT) RULES ,2024 Made: 13 December 2024 Coming into Operation: 20 December 2024 The Guemsey Financial Services Commission ("the Commission") in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 12,'1.3,1,4,15,17 and 19 of the Protection of lrvestors (Bailiwick of Guemsey) Law,20201, makes the following Rules. 1 l Order In Council No. XVIII of 2020.
Citation and Commencement 1,. These Rules may be cited as The Authorised Collective hrvestment Schemes (Class B) (Amendment) Rules, 2024. 2. These Rules come into force on 20 December 2024. Application 3. These Rules do not apply to any Authorised Collective (Class B) Investment Scheme which has been authorised by the Commission prior to the coming into force of these Rules. Amendments 4. The Authorised Collective hvestment (Class B) Rules and Guidance, 20212 are amended as follows: a. by the deletion of the words "Unclaimed and" fromthe title of Rule 5.2; b. by the deletion in its entirety of Rule 5.2(2), and c. by the deletion in its entirety of Rule 8.3(3).
