FSCA Communication 29 of 2023 (FAIS): Crypto Asset Service Provider Licence Application Deadline
The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) mandates that all crypto asset service providers submit their FAIS licence applications by 30 November 2023. A temporary exemption permits these providers to operate without a final licence during the application review period, provided they file within the specified window. Providers operating past the deadline without a submitted application face unauthorised business classification, potential fines or imprisonment, and public disclosure.
