Circular CONAU 1-1704: Elimination of the Correspondence Logbook with the BCRA and SEFyC

The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issued Communication A 8358 to eliminate the mandatory requirement for financial entities to maintain a Correspondence Logbook with the BCRA and SEFyC. Implemented via Circular CONAU 1-1704, this resolution repeals the obligation originally established by Communication A 2934 and later modified by Communication A 4046. Financial institutions are consequently released from the administrative burden of maintaining this specific record while continuing to comply with all other regulatory reporting frameworks.
