INVITATION TO ATTEND NATION-WIDE SENSITISATION SEMINARS ON DESTINATION INSPECTION SCHEME FOR IMPORTERS AND STAKEHOLDERS AT THE VARIOUS VENUES.

This is to inform all Authorized Dealers that the Federal Ministry of Finance is organizing the above stated Seminars as scheduled here under: Date: 28th- 29th April, 2010 Venues: KANO: Tahir Guest Palace Hotel, No. 4, Ibrahim Natsugune Road, Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Kano.

MAIDUGURI: Forshams Events Centre,No.3,Diphcharima Rd,Off Shehu Laminu Way, Old GRA, Maiduguri, Borno State.

The Seminars, among other objectives, are organized to: Sensitize the importers, Banks and other Stakeholders on the new developments in import trade; Highlight issues on documentation requirements, procedures as well as on compliance and integrity, which manifest in false declaration, under valuation, concealment, etc, and Spotlight the facilitation measures aimed at attainment of the 48 hours cargo clearance target.

Authorized Dealers should ensure that they are represented at all the six venues across the country by officers who are conversant with trade operations. Please be punctual.
