The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued Circular No. 02 of 2026 to revise the cut-off time for the Standing Deposit Facility to 1600 hrs, effective from 01 June 2026. This change aligns with RTGS System Circular No. 1 of 2026, while the cut-off time for the Standing Lending Facility remains unchanged at 1530 hrs. The circular amends Clause No. 31 of the Consolidated Operating Instructions and requires all participating institutions to comply with the new deadline.
