Declaration of Conformity to EBA Guidelines on Improving Resolution Readiness under the BRRD (EBA/GL/2022/01)

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) declares its conformity with the European Banking Authority's guidelines on improving resolution readiness for credit institutions and resolution authorities under the BRRD. These guidelines detail European standards for resolution planning, clarifying regulatory expectations for institutions and enabling authorities to assess resolution readiness in accordance with Articles 15 and 16 of the BRRD. The guidelines apply to financial institutions subject to resolution assessments under Directive 2014/59/EU and to the competent authorities supervising them under Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.

NOTICE Declaration of Conformity to the European Banking Authority Guidelines on Improving Resolution Readiness for Institutions and Resolution Authorities under Directive 2014/49/EU (BRRD) (EBA/GL/2022/01)

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority declares conformity with the European Banking Authority (EBA/GL/2022) guidelines on improving resolution readiness for institutions and resolution authorities under Directive 2014/49/EU.

These new guidelines detail, in particular, European standards regarding the resolution readiness of credit institutions. Their main purpose is to clarify for institutions the main regulatory expectations concerning resolution readiness, and to enable authorities to assess the level of resolution readiness achieved by these institutions, in accordance with Articles 15 and 16 of the BRRD.

These guidelines are applicable to financial institutions within the meaning of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 that are institutions subject to a resolution readiness assessment in accordance with Articles 15 and 16 of Directive 2014/59/EU, and to competent authorities within the meaning of points (i), (v) and (viii) of Article 4(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 that supervise these institutions within the meaning of the second subparagraph of Article 2(5) of that Regulation.
