CL-2024-050: Lost Bangko Sentral Registration Document (BSRD)
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued Circular Letter CL-2024-050 to notify all authorized agent banks and foreign exchange corporations regarding the loss of BSRD No. A006457-DE held by Surrey Leasing, Limited. The regulator mandates that the lost document, which covers foreign direct investments in Mirabella Realty Corporation, must not be honored if presented for capital repatriation or earnings remittance. This directive is issued pursuant to Section 38 of the Manual of Regulations on Foreign Exchange Transactions to prevent unauthorized transactions involving the invalidated registration.
