Financial Institutions (Know Your Customer) Guidelines 2021
The Commissioner of Financial Institutions in Lesotho has issued the Financial Institutions (Know Your Customer) Guidelines, 2021. Exercising statutory powers under section 71 of the Financial Institutions Act, 2012, the Commissioner formally repeals the 2007 guidelines. The updated regulations establish mandatory customer due diligence and identification standards for licensed financial entities.
