Banco de Portugal issued Circular Letter No. CC/2022/00000037 to inform credit institutions about the publication of new EBA Guidelines on remuneration information collection (EBA/GL/2022/08). These guidelines, which replace the 2014 version, are scheduled to enter into force on December 31, 2022. The notice specifically targets banks and other credit institutions to ensure compliance with the updated supervisory requirements regarding high remuneration.
This letter informs that the new EBA Guidelines on the exercise of information collection on employees receiving high remuneration (EBA/GL/2022/08) have been published. These guidelines will enter into force on December 31, 2022, and will revoke the guidelines published on July 17, 2014 (EBA/GL/2014/07).
