Instructions No. 5 of 2025 Regarding Cash Deposits in Fuel Station Accounts
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Instructions No. 5 of 2025 to extend the application of Article 2(1) regarding cash deposits in fuel station accounts until June 30, 2025. The directive repeals all conflicting provisions and mandates immediate compliance by relevant authorities effective May 1, 2025. Regarding Cash Deposits in Fuel Station Accounts
Pursuant to the provisions of Decision-Law No. (9) of 2010 concerning Banks, particularly Articles (43 and 72) thereof,
and after reviewing Instructions No. (14) of 2024 regarding Cash Deposits in Fuel Station Accounts, and No. (19) of 2024 regarding the amendment of Instructions No. (14) of 2024 regarding Cash Deposits in Fuel Station Accounts,
and in accordance with the powers delegated to us,
and in pursuit of the public interest,
we have issued the following Instructions:
Article (1)
Definitions
The following words and phrases shall have the meanings specified below, unless the context indicates otherwise:
Original Instructions: Instructions No. (19) of 2024 regarding the amendment of Instructions No. (14) of 2024 regarding Cash Deposits in Fuel Station Accounts.
Article (2)
Extension of the Application of Article (2)
The application of the provisions of paragraph (1) of Article (2) of the Original Instructions is extended until 2025/06/30.
Article (3)
Repeal of Conflicting Provisions
All provisions conflicting with the terms of these Instructions are repealed.
Article (4)
Implementation and Enforcement
The provisions of these Instructions shall take effect as of 2025/05/01, and all competent authorities shall comply with their contents in accordance with their respective jurisdictions.
