Instruction (Historical) No. 3/2025

The Bank of Portugal issued Instruction No. 3/2025 to publish the maximum interest rates applicable to consumer credit contracts for the second quarter of 2025. This directive implements Article 28 of Decree-Law No. 133/2009 and applies to credit institutions and financial companies. The maximum rates became effective on April 1, 2025, following publication on March 7, 2025.
