The Bank of Portugal issued Instruction No. 3/2025 to publish the maximum interest rates applicable to consumer credit contracts for the second quarter of 2025. This directive implements Article 28 of Decree-Law No. 133/2009 and applies to credit institutions and financial companies. The maximum rates became effective on April 1, 2025, following publication on March 7, 2025.
Publishes, for the 2nd quarter of 2025, the maximum rates to be applied in consumer credit contracts under Decree-Law No. 133/2009 of June 2.
