The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) issued this communication to announce its capacity-limited Retirement Funds Conference 2019, scheduled for 12 September in Pretoria. To manage high demand, the Authority allocated remaining seats to waiting-list applicants while providing live streaming on Facebook and Twitter under the hashtag #RFcon19. A complete video recording will be published to YouTube within three weeks, and all presentation slides will be made available on the FSCA website for remote access.

FSCA Communication 3 of 2019 (PFA) FSCA RETIREMENT FUNDS CONFERENCE 2019 Page 1 of 1 FSCA COMMUNICATION 3 OF 2019 (PFA) FSCA RETIREMENT FUNDS CONFERENCE 2019: EVOLUTION OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN RETIREMENT FUNDS INDUSTRY

  1. The Retirement Funds Supervision Division will be hosting a conference on 12 September 2019 at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria from 7h30 – 17h30.
  2. The conference venue is able to host 450 delegates and due to the substantial interest in the conference, it has been booked to capacity.
  3. The Authority has, on a daily basis, received various requests from individuals for a seat at the conference. Unfortunately, due to capacity constraints we were unable to accommodate all requests. Enquirers were placed on a waiting list and where possible, we have allocated a seat to persons on the waiting list.
  4. For those who are unable to attend, please note that the conference will be streamed live on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #RFcon19.
  5. The conference will also be video recorded and uploaded to YouTube approximately three weeks after the conference.
  6. Presentation slides used at the conference will be published on the FSCA website.
