Decision on medals and tokens similar to euro coins
The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro issued this decision to regulate the production, sale, import, and distribution of medals and tokens resembling euro coins. It prohibits items that mimic euro designs, dimensions, or symbols unless they meet specific exemption criteria or obtain prior approval from the Central Bank. Non-compliance results in fines ranging from 500 to 10,000 euros, and existing stockholders must seek approval within 90 days of the decision's entry into force.
