Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations regarding alternative investment fund managers (FFFS 2022:22)
Finansinspektionen issued regulations amending its rules on alternative investment fund managers to incorporate specific provisions for entities acting as PEPP providers or distributors. The amendment inserts a new Chapter 10, Section 4 into the existing regulatory framework, establishing additional requirements for AIF managers subject to Regulation (EU) 2019/1238 on the pan-European Personal Pension Product. These regulations entered into force on 1 January 2023 to ensure compliance with EU pension product standards.
